I had tried all the normal things, reinstalling MSN, turning off firewalls and anti-virus software but still no go.
You must have an Internet connection to view and download updates.
Click "Install" to install updates if OS X indicates they are available.
Click "OK" and "Quit" after the updates are done installing. Click "Quit" if you receive a prompt stating that your Mac Book Pro is up to date.
Check for updates frequently to keep your computer safe.
